PARADE OF EXCELLENCE TO SPOTLIGHT ATLANTA STUDENTS FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE, SCHOLARLLY ACHIEVEMENT AND VOLUNTEERISM

Atlanta, GA – September 26, 2012 - The Parade of Excellence, presented by KIA Motors, is one of the annual events in Atlanta that brings thousands of families to downtown Atlanta. This is one of the many activities associated with the Atlanta Football Classic weekend. The parade takes place on Saturday, September 29th at 10:00 a.m. from the intersection of Peachtree and Baker streets and It then follows Peachtree, taking a right onto Marietta St. and ending at Phillips Arena.

POPULAR GOSPEL SINGER/SONGWRITER MARVIN SAPP TO PERFORM NATIONAL ANTHEM

ATLANTA (Sept. 25, 2012) – Popular Gospel singer/songwriter and Pastor Marvin Sapp has been added to the star-studded entertainment lineup of the 2012 Bank of America Atlanta Football Classic, it was announced today by the 100 Black Men of Atlanta, the volunteer community organization focused on education, empowerment and enrichment in African-American youth, who produces the game. Sapp will perform the National Anthem at the 24th annual Atlanta event with 10-time GRAMMY® Award winning Chaka Khan, Doug E. Fresh, Future and the Southern University Marching Band bringing together a musical celebration of past and present Hip Hop and R&B in the "One Love. One Music. One Culture." halftime show.

One Culture." – as announced by the 100 Black Men of Atlanta, a volunteer community organization focused on education, empowerment and enrichment in African-American youth that presents the game.

ATLANTA (Aug. 22, 2012) – Doug E. Fresh - "The original human beatbox" - will headline and emcee the halftime show of the 24th annual Bank of America Atlanta Football Classic to be themed “One Love. One Music. One Culture.” - it was announced today by the 100 Black Men of Atlanta, a volunteer community organization focused on education, empowerment and enrichment in African-American youth that presents the game.
